Danninger Feng is a painter born in Ningbo, China, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Pratt Institute. In addition to painting, she works in woodworking, jewelry, ceramics, digital modeling and fabrication, and sculptural art candles, and is the founder of The Living Candle, a sculptural candle brand that explores form and transformation.
In embracing the impermanence of life, her works serve as vessels, preserving the fleeting things through a poetic and gentle touch. Through painting, she cultivates a deeper understanding of herself and the world around her—a means of reflection, exploration, and revelation. Working across different fields of fine art allows her to open up her mind, stay curious, and find joy in being hands-on with materials and processes.
